The ocean view from our room was stunning and made the stay worthwhile. The indoor pool was closed for repairs, which was disappointing during our trip.

Oceanfront rooms have stunning views, perfect for relaxing. Parking is a hassle; spots are limited, especially on busy weekends. Easy beach access is a nice perk.

Staying here was a delight as it’s right on the beach and just a short walk to the bustling boardwalk and all its activities like the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and family-friendly attractions, making it ideal for leisurely evening strolls; you also have a pool and lazy river for kids at the hotel for some fun in the sun, which was a nice touch, but the hotel could use some updates and a bit more attention to cleanliness.

The kids will enjoy the theme park and the casino is fun for adults There's a lot to do nearby and the rooms were spacious
It wasn't the least expensive place we've stayed but worth the money

The view is absolutely stunning! The pool area is a blast, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
The elevator and hallways could definitely use a good cleaning.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort! The oceanfront room was serene and the kids loved the pool area. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. The tiki bar offered delicious drinks, making our beach days even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!

The beach view was beautiful and the pool area was nice, plus the bar by the pool was a hit! Unfortunately, our room had barely any kitchen supplies, and it was super outdated. the bathroom was really dirty, and we had some issues with our key cards. it could use a serious refresh.

Great beach access and pool, but slow Wi-Fi and long elevator wait.

Being blown away by hurricane-force winds, landing a NASA spacecraft, and seeing the ocean from the balcony were entertaining. The House of Blues with live music and the sculpture garden were exceptional.
Feeling like I was staying in a crack house due to the run-down conditions.

The beach access was a total game changer for my trip! I loved lounging on the sun terrace with a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly, and the outdoor pool area was perfect for some quality relaxation.
Can't recommend highly enough! 😍🙌

The hotel had a clean vibe and friendly staff who genuinely cared about our day. Loved the location; just a short walk to the pier and boardwalk. The pool and lazy river were definitely highlights, along with a fun tiki bar. the check-in process was chaotic due to unexpected fees that left guests frustrated. My initial room was disappointing—worn carpets and a strange wall bed that needed un-drilling. while it had charm and potential, it fell short on basic comforts and consistency, making it hard to recommend for families.

The location is ideal—right on the beach and close to the boardwalk. Beds were comfortable, and the pool area was welcoming. Staff was generally friendly, which added a nice touch. the experience fell short in several areas. Underwhelming amenities included a non-functioning coffee maker and heating, with AC issues persisting. Cleanliness was a concern; the fridge was unappetizing, and trash lingered in hallways. Security felt lacking with open-access areas. Despite these drawbacks, the affordability and stunning views shine through. The potential is evident, but a serious commitment to maintenance and guest service is necessary for a more commendable experience. A solid place, but it could certainly use some improvement.

The location and ocean view were stunning. The beds were very comfortable, with perfect sheets and pillows. the room was filthy upon entry, with a sippy cup and diaper found under furniture. The bathroom had black residue, and the sink didn’t drain properly. Only one working outlet made getting ready difficult, as the coffee pot also failed. Frequent key issues added frustration. Disturbance from the hallway was noticeable, especially during a fire alarm. While the staff were exceptional and friendly throughout, the overall condition of the room was disappointing.

The hallway was unbearably hot and smelled awful. It felt neglected, and our room was even worse—cockroaches and dirty floors everywhere. We expected better, especially for the price. It seriously ruined our stay. Never again!

Our family had a fantastic time at the Radical Ropes Adventure Park in Myrtle Beach. The exhilarating aerial park and thrilling zip lines provided endless fun for both kids and adults. We especially enjoyed the KidZipz and the stunning views from up high.
My wife says that the park could benefit from more shaded rest areas for families with young children.

The beach access and view were delightful during our stay. Being able to easily walk to nearby shops added to the convenience of the location. Additionally, the comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city.
The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. From finding items left behind by previous guests to encountering maintenance issues like a broken TV stand, it was clear the room needed better upkeep.

It would have been helpful to have an iron and ironing board available for use, especially when trying to look presentable for outings or events. The heating in the room was sufficient but I did notice that the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, providing a comfortable environment during the warmer parts of the day. It was a relief to have that option available, ensuring I could adjust the room temperature to my liking. I was disappointed that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. It would have been nice to have the option to make a hot cup of tea or coffee, especially after coming back from a chilly day out. Having tea bags or a small coffee maker would have been a welcome addition to the room amenities. As for other amenities, I appreciated the presence of free toiletries in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. I did notice that the carpeted floor in the room seemed a bit dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. It would have been more pleasant to walk on clean carpets during my stay. while there were aspects of the resort that I enjoyed, such as the comfortable beds and the beautiful view from the location, there were areas that could use improvement, particularly in providing essential amenities like ironing facilities and tea and coffee options in the room. These small touches can make a big difference in the experience.

The lazy river and pool were a blast! The tiki bar had great drinks, and the oceanfront view was stunning. The elevator was fast, and the staff was super friendly.
The rooms were disappointing. Dirty carpets, holes in the walls, and a strange smell.

The room smelled strong of cigarettes and had animal pee stains all over the floor and dresser. There were also roaches in the room. It took a long time for the staff to address our needs and they didn't ask about our stay at check-out. Despite the convenient location, the overall experience was subpar.

From swinging at Radical Ropes to strolling the Boardwalk, we were on cloud nine. The Art Museum's exhibitions were mind, blowing, and the Best Show was off the charts! Total blast!
Wish they had a trendier late, night hangout spot on, site for us party animals! .

Our stay at this beachfront resort was overall enjoyable. The housekeeping staff was exceptional and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the good AC, although we did experience some issues with the rooms above leaking AC onto us when we were on the balcony. The location of the resort was excellent, conveniently close to everything we needed. We were able to walk to nearby attractions and had easy access to the beach, which was a shared public beach. The free DVD rental machine in the lobby was a nice bonus.
The smell of weed in the hallways. Additionally, parking was a bit inconvenient as it was located a couple of roads away in a sketchy parking garage.

i really liked the location of sandcastle oceanfront resort at the pavilion. it was close to everything, especially the beach, and within walking distance of the sky wheel and promenade. the room was nice, with separate rooms in the suite, and my daughter's cheer competition was conveniently nearby. the staff was nice, the tiki bar was cute, and there was a relaxing lazy river for the kids.
All was good 😊
